1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Helix application (the "Application"), published by [TO BE COMPLETED: company name, company number, address, contact]. By creating an account or using the Application, you accept these Terms.
2. ⚕️ Medical disclaimer (essential)
Helix is an information, education and wellness-tracking tool, NOT a medical device, NOT a diagnostic, medical advice or treatment service.
- Scores, protocols, indicative doses, biomarker analyses, "biological age", trends and contraindications are provided for educational purposes ("Learn" tab) and on a general basis. They are no substitute for the advice of a healthcare professional.
- Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting, changing or stopping any supplement, medication or practice, especially in case of an existing condition, ongoing treatment, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- The personal correlations displayed are observational ("an observed trend, not proof of cause and effect").
- You use the Application at your sole responsibility. The publisher disclaims all liability for health decisions made on the basis of the information provided.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to contract.
4. Account
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for the activity on your account. Accurate information is required. One account per person.
5. Acceptable use
It is prohibited to: post illegal, hateful, defamatory or dangerous content (manifestly risky protocols, incitement to dangerous practices), harass others, impersonate someone, spam, run unsolicited advertising, mass-extract data (scraping), circumvent security or payment mechanisms, or promote the sale of regulated/illicit substances. Moderation and suspension may apply in case of breach.
6. User content
You retain ownership of your content. You grant the publisher a limited, non-exclusive licence, solely for the purpose of operating the Application (storage, display to the recipients you choose according to your visibility settings). You are solely responsible for what you publish and warrant that you have the right to do so.
7. Community
Helix is a niche, anti-toxicity network: no industrial dopamine, no harassment. The community rules apply; the publisher may remove content or suspend an account in case of abuse.
8. "Founder" offer and in-app purchases
- The Founder offer (one-time purchase and/or subscription) unlocks lifetime premium access and supports server costs.
- Purchases are made and billed through the App Store / Google Play. Management, renewal, refunds and cancellation are governed by those platforms' terms. The publisher processes no banking data.
- Founder status is verified server-side via the payment provider (RevenueCat).
9. Intellectual property
The Application, its trademark, design, algorithms and knowledge base are protected. No rights are transferred beyond personal use of the Application.
10. Availability and changes
The Application is provided "as is". The publisher may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service, and amend these Terms (with notice in case of a substantial change).
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damages, nor for the consequences of health decisions made using the Application (see section 2). No warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for medical use.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Settings). The publisher may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these Terms.
13. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
